Snowmobiling

We got to go snowmobiling with my family this last weekend. It was great fun! We had sort of a crazy weekend though. It started off with a family member in ICU :( (we are still praying for recovery, and definitely optimistic for it). Preston had his Fire Academy, so I had to update him while he was in class. That was kind of hard. Once he got done he drove down to UC where the rest of us were. We hung out and enjoyed family time. HD and Brit were able to come down that night and we got to see them. :) On Sunday we had to go to all three hours of church for lack of finding subs for our sunbeams. The rest of my family left to go to the cabin where we stayed around 12:00ish. We met up with everyone around 6:00 to find out that Brit hit her head and had a concussion. :( She was at the hospital with my dad and HD. Apparently the whole thing just created a lot of funny stories, because Brit is just fine. The nurse even started teasing her because she really had no idea what was going on... We ended up with a pretty sweet setup with a king size bed and our own TV (which we didn't use). Granted the king was a European king so Preston's feet still hung off.... but it was nice not sleeping on a queen. It's hard to go back to that once you've been in a cal king for a few years! :) Of course the best part of the whole weekend for me was seeing Preston's excitement as he got to play on a new (to him, but definitely rented) toy! I also got to start a giant princess coloring page of Aurora... :) :)
