Tearin it up!

My in-laws (and everyone else when they can) have been working very hard for the last little while (they'll say it feels like forever) on remodeling their home. The changes that have been made look awesome, and they are nearing the final stages of the remodel! Well for now at least... of course there are more plans ahead but on step at a time... :)

Well this last phase is the kitchen! They have repainted and done the crown molding etc. They have ripped up all the tile, and are now in the midst of putting new tile down. The new tile is a nice big 18" x 18" and they are doing it on the angle! It creates more waste this way but looks awesome!

Preston had to take many breaks to wipe sweat from his face... it was dripping too much and making the glasses hard to look through. Thanks for wearing them though P!

Spencer had just donated blood before he came over to help... And Preston... always good for a pose... LOL!

After tile, they are actually doing what we did in our main entry but slightly farther apart and their chair rail is slightly larger... Makes sense with a larger wall... They'll do it on that wall shown in each picture. Oh, and the new base boards will go all around too.

There are other things in the works too like decor but one step at a time...
